After releasing ‘Garbo’ sung by Dhvani Bhanushali and composed by Tanishk Bagchi, now on the occasion of the Navratri festival, our dear Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi unveiled another Garba song titled ‘Maadi’ and left everyone surprised through his great hidden talent of writing.
Composed by Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh aka Meet Bros and sung by Divya Kumar, Mr Modi released the track on social media by thanking the musicians and singer. He wrote, “As the auspicious Navratri dawns upon us, I am delighted to share a Garba penned by me during the past week. Let the festive rhythms embrace everyone! I thank @MeetBros, Divya Kumar for giving voice and music to this Garba”.

Meet Bros expressed their gratefulness for working with PM Modi
Revealing that the song was created in two days, Manmeet shared that Modi Ji himself made changes in the lyrics when it was needed and expressed his feelings on working with a professional writer.
The Meet Brothers said, “It was like a gift for us from the goddess. We got 48 hours to compose this and we made this song. We really want to meet him and hope we will meet soon. We never thought that we would get this song. We are thankful to our team for helping us in composing this song.”
Further added, "He needed a composer to instantly compose the song in 48 hours and contacted three or four composers and finally he liked our songs. While choosing the composer, he didn't think of Sikh or Punjabi and treated a musician like a musician." And Manmeet Singh said, “PM Modi is our favourite and we respect and love him a lot. He is one of the most popular personalities in the world. In two days this song has been composed. Whenever there were some changes in the lyrics PM Modi himself made some change in the lyrics. We felt that we are working with a professional writer. It is a new side of him which the world does not know about him. We are the lucky ones to witness this side of him.”
The 4-minute, 40-second exhilarating track featured people dressed in colourful attire heading to various garba venues to swing to the beats while some are also seen with dandiya. In the music video’s background, we can also spot the Statue of Unity located in Vadodara and dedicated to Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
Sharing reactions to the song, several Bollywood stars appreciated the work done by PM Narendra Modi. Akshay Kumar’s hilarious reaction said, “This is amazing @narendramodi ji! Sir ab aap hamare field mei bhi...hum kahan jayein? Shubh Navratri to you and everyone".
Veteran star Anupam Kher reacted by saying, “Jai Ho” and the actress Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Amidst a hectic schedule and immense pressure, it’s remarkable how the PM prioritizes and engages in creative devotional writing (folded hands emoji)”.
