Bhumi Pednekar Launches 'The Bhumi Foundation'

Bollywood Actor and climate warrior Bhumi Pednekar known for her versatile acting, brilliant performances, and unwavering commitment to social causes and the environment, has taken a significant step towards ushering in positive change. Bhumi has a deep-rooted passion for the planet, she also runs an advocacy platform on social media called ‘Climate Warrior’ that aims at educating people about the need for environmental conservation. The launch of The Bhumi Foundation is a testament to the actor's profound and unwavering dedication to the planet. 

The platform will work towards funding climate change projects led by individuals and NGOs, producing climate-related podcasts and documentaries, supporting climate awareness events, and investing in eco-conscious startups. The platform will aim at empowering organisations and climate conservationists to bring about real change and reduce the impact of pollution and carbon footprint in our country.

Bhumi Pednekar, expressing her enthusiasm for this new endeavour, said, "I am happy to announce the launch of 'The Bhumi Foundation'. Bhumi Pednekar's love for the planet and dedication to conserving the environment has already gained global recognition. The actor is the first National Advocate for Sustainable Development Goals for UNDP India and the Goodwill Ambassador for Healing Himalayas, an NGO that keeps the mountain range clear and protects its ecosystem!
