Remake of a Malayalam cinema, Manichitrathazhu, the Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Paresh Rawal and Ameesha Patel starrer Bhool Bhulaiya was a run away hit with admiring performances, chart bursting songs and entertainment, minting Rs 50 crore against a budget of Rs 32 crore. The makers have roped in Kartik Aaryan for the sequel which is all set to hit the theaters on 20th May 2022. Joining the star cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be the gorgeous Kiara Advani and talented Tabu.

1st half #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 : VERY SURPRISED. #KartikAaryan is one of the only actors who can convince you of the absurdity in commercial comedies.

The opening as per trade report is good with news coming in that the opening of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 might even turn out to be the highest opening film of Kartik Aaryan, beating Love Aaj Kal which released in 2020.
