This year’s 69th National Awards saw a prestigious moment of Bollywood lead actresses Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon sharing a Best Actress win together. Ever since then, both are seen showering love upon each other in many different ways on social media and we cannot get enough.
In August when the National Awards 2023 winning list was unveiled, Kriti shared with News18 that she had a call conversation with Alia as they won for ‘Mimi’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ respectively. She said, “I’ve always admired Alia as an actor and she was phenomenal in Gangubai Kathiawadi. We’ve both played the title role in our respective films and it’s a proud moment to be sharing this prestigious award with her! I called her up and both of us were just too excited.”
The excitement surely continued after the win and it is unmissable. Taking to the Instagram story Mimi actress posted a heartwarming picture with her colleague sharing an elated hug which was clicked by the Gangubai actress’ husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor. She captioned it saying, “Aliaaaa! @aliaabhatt Our smiles say it all! Will remember our moment we shared just before getting on stage”

Further reposting it back, Alia mentioned Kriti as her ‘neighbour’, she wrote, “Congratulations mimi.. yesterday was so much more special cause of the moment we shared.. lots of love neighbour.. meet soon so Ranbir can take more pictures of us haha”.

Reportedly, the rumours of Luka Chuppi actress house hunting in Mumbai made headlines in July and bought a new residence in the upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra. Further reports also suggest that she is been deeply engaged in crafting her new living space by gearing up to move with her family just in time for the festive season of Diwali.

Alia Bhatt shared a winning picture moment and wrote, "A photo, a moment, a memory for life 🤍". Also, she made headlines for her great gesture by wearing her wedding saree to receive an award and sharing the reason about the same she said on her Instagram story, " A special day calls for a special outfit. And sometimes....that outfit is already right there. What's special once can be special again. And again."
