Amidst fans have been missing Sai Pallavi's watch on-screen for more than a year now, she is currently making headlines for getting married to Tamil director Rajkumar Periyasamy which created a lot of buzz on the internet when a photo of her standing next to him wearing red flower garlands sparked rumours of them tying the knot.
Meanwhile, the reports came out clarifying it's not true as the photograph was taken during the film's opening pooja ceremony where it is customary in the Kollywood industry for the cast and crew to wear flower garlands. The full image shows Rajkumar holding a clapperboard but unfortunately, a few individuals had cropped the image and spread false rumours of her wedding with the director, also, various media portals and YouTube channels erroneously started reporting the same. Sai Pallavi Speaks out "Circulated with paid bots & disgusting intentions"
Sai, known for her down-to-earth personality and embracing her naturalness has never cared about rumours but she had to speak out on this photo which was allegedly circulated by someone which has involved her friends like family. She wrote on X (formerly Twitter) by expressing how it is discomfort and disheartening it is "to explain for all these jobless doings".

The Pooja ceremony photos were shared by the director on the occasion of her birthday which was on 2 May 2023 and the cropped image went viral.
Sai Pallavi plays the female lead opposite superstar Siva Karthikeyan in the film which is tentatively titled SK21. She will be reuniting with Naga Chaitanya for the upcoming movie NC23 helmed by Chandoo Mondeti and said to be based on true events.

Also, as per several media reports, Shyam Singha Roy actress will be portraying the role of Lord Sita in Bollywood director Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan after replacing Alia Bhatt, while Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Ram and KGF star Yash will be seen in Ravana. But neither the filmmaker nor the actress commented on the reports yet.
