Ahsaas Channa Manifested Her Role In Netflix's Mismatched

Ahsaas Channa on Tuesday, while speaking at the third episode of  It’s Popping with Ahsaas Channa, Popdiaries’ Live Podcast, shared how she manifested her role for Netflix’s Mismatched.

While speaking about her future project, she revealed that she is going to be a part of Season 3 of the Netflix Original Series Mismatched. She previously appeared in season 2 as a guest star playing the character of Vinny, Taaruk Raina’s partner. She said, “Taaruk’s character is a very serious character in the show. He is always angry and never smiles, and it was this one scene in season 2 where he smiles, and I’m the reason he smiles. So people went nuts, and mismatched fans went full berserk.”

The Creators of the series noticed that the fans loved their chemistry and decided to cast Ahsaas as a main character in the upcoming season, where the season explores their love story. She also revealed that she auditioned for the show previously. She said, “I  remember, I had auditioned for Prajakta’s part, and I auditioned for Dimple’s part but didn’t get it. So I was very disheartened.” She also auditioned for the character of Namrata, Rohit Saraf’s best friend.

“I wasn’t able to be a part of Mismatched, like the primary cast, then I got a chance to do it in Season 2, and I have a good, nice arc in it. And I’m very happy to be a part of it,” she said.

Ahsaas Channa recently worked on season two of Sisters and other web series like Half CA, Kota Factory and Mismatched. The entire episode will be available on YouTube soon.
