Ahsaas first debuted in the Hindi film industry with the film Vastu Shastra, and at the young age of six, got a chance to star alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, produced by Karan Johar. She yet again played the character of a boy as the son of Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta. Recalling her time working with the legendary actor, she said, “I was six when I was on set, I knew who he was, I knew he was a big star, but I was never intimidated, or I was never nervous around him because one he never made me feel that way.”

She explained that she doesn't have many memories of it, since she was only six. “But ones that were significant enough have stayed with me. One was that he was very humble and very hardworking,” she said. She revealed that he made her comfortable during the shoots in open stadiums in New York during the winter seasons of November and December. “He used to pamper me a lot, and most of the time, and it's because you’re a kid, but from what I remember and my mother told me, he was nice to everyone around him,” she said.
