Table toppers in the league stage easily pulled off the knockout win over Hyderabad earlier in the qualifire 1 and then in the finals as well.

Kolkata Knight Riders with their all-round performance restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad on 113 while easily chased in 10.3 overs and won the match by 8 wickets. Mitchell Starc with his clinical performance stumbled Hyderabad taking 2 wickets in 3 overs sparing just 14 runs. While Russell grabbed 3 and Harshit Rana got 2 wickets. Venkatesh Iyer with the gignatic strike rate of 200 scored 52 off 26 and made it too easy for KKR while chasing.
