In the battle of survival both the teams revealed some expected but shocking changes to the playing XI, this includes dropping of David Warner ahead of Jason Roy and Kedar Jadhav ahead of Virat Singh from Sunrisers Hyderabad court. In the second innings, struggling batting unit had different plans today as IPL debutant Jason Roy scored 60 runs off 42 balls while Skipper Williamson too grind some runs in his account scoring 51 off 41.

Abhishek Sharma in the end gave finishing touch to get winning runs and Hyderabad celebrated their second win in the tournament but their position remains same at bottom with 4 points. Though Rajasthan would regret for this defeat as it was their golden chance to be featured in top fours.
