Forgetful evening for RCB where they had a bad outing in both departments of the game. RCBs reputation is all about power hitting batters but unfortunately they had 22 as their highest score by an individual today.

Earlier Virat Kohli won the toss and opted bat first that didn't go well ahead as KKR bowling unit choked almost all of them. Varun Chakravarthy who recently got selected in India's squad for T20 Worldcup took 3 wickets in 13 runs and showed his ability. Whereas Russle showed his importance as a bowler by taking 3 wickets in 9 runs.

Devdutt Paddikal scored 22 runs while no other batsmen seem to get any runs easily whereas De Villiers and IPL debutant Hasaranga got out on golden duck.

On the other hand Kolkata Knight Riders completely dominated in the second innings. New opening pair Shubhman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer put 82 runs partnership as Gill scored 48 while Iyer remained not out and scored 42 runs.

There won't be any bad outing and start for any team like this and RCB had it in their first match of second leg. KKR will take this victory as motivation to win further matches as they are in the bottoms of the points table.

Brief Score:
RCB:
92/10 (Paddikal 22, Chakravarthy 3-13, Russel 3-9)
