Veteran Actress Seema Deo's Last Rites Held In Mumbai; Celebs Arrives To Pay Respect

Seema Deo born Nalini Saraf rose to fame through Indian Hindi and Marathi films cast in more than 80 films in her entire career. Known for her portrayals in Koshish, Kora Kagaz, and Anand. She was last seen in a 2021 Marathi movie titled ‘Jivan Sandhya’. 

Seema Deo Passes Away

On 24 August 2023, the veteran superstar bid goodbye to the world in the early hours of Thursday. In an interview with a leading media portal, the news was confirmed by son Abhinay Deo. He said she had suffered from Alzheimer's and died due to natural causes, otherwise, she was doing fine before that.

The last rites of Seema Deo were held in Mumbai, Shivaji Park and her sons Ajinkya Deo, and Abhinay Deo were seen performing the last rites. Several celebrities like Javed Jaffrey, Neha Pendse, music composer Atul and more arrived to pay their respects. 

Seema Deo survived with two sons, Ajinkya Deo is an actor known for his work in Marathi cinema and filmmaker Abhinay Deo is known for directing a Bollywood flick ‘Delhi Belly’. Also, the actress’ husband Ramesh Deo was a popular actor who worked in more than 285 Hindi movies, 190 Marathi movies, and 30 Marathi dramas with over 200 showings, he passed away last year due to a heart attack at the age of 93.
