Kartik Aaryan Replacing Akshay’s Raju in the 3rd Part?
A few months ago, talks about the third franchise Hera Pheri 3 strangely titled Hera Pheri 4 was in the news and soon after that reports about Kartik Aaryan replacing Akshay Kumar’s Raju character made headlines. Due to this, he received a lot of backlash, as per the netizens' point of view Hera Pheri is not a film if it is not played by them and if any of them is out it will not make any sense at all.

Talking about the replacement, in the latest interview with News 18 Paresh Rawal confirmed that Kartik’s character in Hera Pheri 4 was not Akshay’s Raju. In fact, it was a completely fresh role. He said, “Kartik’s role was different and had a different kind of energy than Raju. The premise of his character was different. One shouldn’t be afraid of backlashes. And once people watch a film, they forget all the backlashes.”
Earlier, interestingly there were reports that the producer Firoz Nadiadwala has plans for two different drafts for Hera Pheri 4 to make with the original cast and another one with Satyaprem Ki Katha actor stepping in as Raju from another world and not replacing or reprising-Akshay-Kumar’s character. Paresh Rawal confirmed the same news.
The fans were disappointed when they did not get to witness their favourite star back for Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s sequel, as Kartik Aaryan replaced Khiladi actor in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and now when he is replacing him again which didn’t go well among the audience due to which the actor faced backlashes.
Hera Pheri Goes On Floors From…
During an interaction with Pinkvilla, Paresh Rawal opened upon the schedule set for this third instalment. Hera Pheri 4 will go on the floor sometime in 2024.
Speaking About Love on Baburao’s Role
Further, the veteran superstar also expressed the love he receives for the glorious character of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte and his presence in different memes on the internet. He said, “Yes. Of course, I am.” He added, “But main saath me ye bhi umeed karta hu ki kuch alag karne ko mile. Backdrop uska alag ho, koi nayi kahaani ho toh uske responses bhi alag honge. Uska approach bhi alag hoga. (But at the same time, I also expect that I get to do something different this time. Like a different backdrop or a new story, so his responses will also be different. His approach will be unique.)”

Future Projects of Paresh Rawal
The actor has several films in his kitty most of sequels and threequels. Along with Akshay Kumar, he will be back with the third part of ‘Welcome’ officially titled ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ reprising the same roles. Also, the sequel of ‘Awara Pagal Deewana’ is in the works.
While he also talked about not being present in the latest release of ‘OMG 2’ and he felt it was a cash grab, he revealed he would do the series’ third part. And, he is gearing up for the release of ‘Dream Girl 2’ releasing on 25 August 2023, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the lead.
