On Sunday, the Bank of Baroda issued a notice to actor Sunny Deol of e-auction his Juhu property to recover the unpaid loan of whopping Rs 56 crores. However, later on, the next day, Monday, the bank clarified withdrawing this notice due to technical glitches.
They stated, “Corrigendum to e-auction notice with regards to sale auction notice in respect of Mr Ajay Singh Deol alias Mr Sunny Deol stands withdrawn due to technical reasons.”

Also, on the same day, reports came in about the actor Akshay Kumar offering help to Sunny Deol in repayment of this massive amount. As per the source of an entertainment portal statement, “Akshay Kumar had a meeting with Sunny Deol on Sunday, August 20, hours after the news of the notice spread like wildfire. He immediately decided to help the Gadar 2 (2023) actor. As part of the deal, Akshay Kumar will be paying a huge chunk of the debt. Sunny Deol will then repay the loan to Akshay Kumar in a stipulated time. The next step for Sunny Deol is to immediately initiate a meeting with the bank officials.”
But later on, the OMG 2 actor’s team trashed all the rumours that he did not help Gadar 2 actor in relieving the loan. They clarified, “All such claims are absolutely untrue”.

Reacting to this whole issue, Sunny Deol said, “I do not want to comment. These are personal matters. Main kuch bhi bolunga, log galat matlab nikalenge,” he quoted as per the news agency ANI.

Adding on, Mr Deol’s spokesperson said, “We are in the process of resolving this issue and the issue will be resolved. We request for no further speculation on the same.”
‘Gadar 2’ is a sequel of an old cult-classic hit ‘Gadar’ recently released on 11 August 2023 and celebrating a huge success with a collection of Rs 377.20 crores at the Indian box office alone.
