The most-anticipated ‘Oh My God 2’ film’s teaser has been released today and it seems promising just like its part 1 ‘Oh My God’ that left a mark behind. Netizens previously doubted Akshay Kumar donning in Lord Shiva's role but now we can see they’re happy with him and appreciate his part.
The teaser starts with the backlash of the first movie in which Paresh Rawal was a non-believer, in which Akshay had opted for the role of Lord Krishna to instil a sense of devotion in an atheist and now in the sequel, it's the opposite way. Pankaj Tripathi is a strong believer, who falls in trouble and Kumar who is playing the role of Lord Shiva lands to support him.
The pair of Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi seems a sure shot hit, as we all know how great versatile performer Tripathi is and no doubt the Airlift star nails every character that he showcases onscreen and Twitteratis are equally elated with the teaser.
One user said, “Prepare to be amazed once again!” and the other says “I've never been more excited for a movie than I'm for #OMG2”. Another Twitter user says, “Teaser looks promising” and a girl expresses, “OMG 2 trailer is quite interesting... Good cast, good music and amazing dialogue.. wow. Looking forward for the movie.” “Absolutely in awe with #AkshayKumars look as Mahadev in #OMG2 . He looks terrific and the movie too has huge potential to surpass the biz of its predecessor,” another user tweeted.

Also, Yami Gautam plays a pivotal role in ‘OMG 2” but was missing from the teaser. Now we can expect her in the trailer maybe and cannot wait for it to be out soon.
OMG 2 will hit the theatres on August 11, 2023 and it is helmed by Amit Rai and Akshay Kumar’s social media post hinted that the upcoming film will be more about reinstating Pankaj's faith in the Lord, whom he once prayed to with all his heart. While the actor Arun Govil is returning to cinemas with this movie almost after two decades and he was last seen in Dhaal (1997).
