Govinda Accidentally Shoots Himself in Leg When His Revolver Misfires

Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena member, Govinda, in the early hours of October 1 accidentally shot his leg with a bullet and was immediately hospitalised.

In the early hours of October 1, Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg when his licensed revolver misfired. The incident occurred at 4.45 a.m. in the morning when he was checking the weapon. He was immediately hospitalised at CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai for medical attention. According to reports, he was leaving for Kolkata just before the bullet struck his knee leading to blood loss. He is currently being taken care of by his daughter.

Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha updated on the actor’s condition, “Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now.”

Even the actor himself updated about his condition through a voice note, "Namaskar, pranaam, main hoon Govinda, aap sab logon ke aashirwad aur maa-baap ka aashirwad, guru ki kripa ke wajah se goli lagi thi par woh nikaal di gayi hai. Main dhanyavad deta hoon yahan ke doctor ka, aadarniya doctor Agarwal ji ka aur aap sab logon ki prarthana jo hai, aap logon ka dhanyavad, pranaam.”
