‘OMG 2’ starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Govind Namdev and others was released on 11 August 2023 by faced several issues with Censor Board as they demanded a lot of changes in the film as it is based on bold content like sex education and masturbation concept.
Despite 24 cuts and adults only a certificate, OMG 2 is doing wonders on-screen people are liking it for the film makers step of showcasing such an informative storyline for today’s youth but many still can’t watch the film.

Talking on the same the movie actor Govind Namdev has taken to social media for criticizing the censor Board for being unreasonable with such an essential film on adult education by slamming Prabhas‘ Adipurush in the process calling it stupid.

In the Facebook post, Govind Namdev wrote, “OMG, O MY GOD is released finally with 24 Censor cuts n senseless A certificate so that teenagers should not see the movie for whom the movie is made, And Censor has passed it !” And further added, “Jo dimaag censor board ko Adipurush jaisi behuda film mein lagana chahiye tha wo unhone ‘Oh My God” jaisi thoughtful aur progressive film ko kaatne kootne mein kharch kar diya! Waah.”

Adding his thoughts on the day of the film released itself the audiences passed the film, “Thunderous applause by the audiences in theatres today speaks volumes about the film,” he said.
While, talking about ‘Adhipurush’ directed by Om Raut starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and Saif Ali Khan in the lead also released recently which was completely passed by the censor board despite its lame, triggering dialogues and also differently portrayed looks and costumes of the characters, which created a lot of fuss and highly disappointment among the audience.
