1st Day Box Office – Anek Disappoints, Top Gun Maverick Is Decent

Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has received good reviews from the audience which has led to exceptional box office collection not just in India but also worldwide. The comedy drama had opened to excellent response with a very good hold on the weekdays with with comedy drama minting Rs 92.05 crore in its first week.

The comedy drama faced new releases in form of Anek and Top Gun Maverick but showed a solid hold with Rs 6.52 crore. The collection escalated on Saturday with a stellar Rs 11.35 crore, making it the highest grossing film of Kartik Aaryan by beating Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweet which collected Rs 108.95 crore. The collections on Sunday were even better with Rs 12.77 crore while second Monday was brilliant with Rs 5.5 crore. As per early trade estimates, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 brought Rs 4-5 crore on second Tuesday, bringing the 12 days total to around 132.50 crore and has now beaten cult classic horror comedy Stree which has collected Rs 129.83 crore in its lifetime.
