After giving us a solid and hard-hitting The Tashkent Files, Vivek Agnihotri is back with yet another riveting truth on Kashmir with The Kashmir Files which already enough juice for the audience to watch it on the first day itself. Surprisingly, the blunt film had a limited screens to be released for the reason best known but the good news is that The Kashmir Files opened decently in the morning shows but thanks to the mind blowing (as per Book My Show), gathered enough steam in the evening and night shows, bringing the a solid total of Rs 3.25-.3.40 crore (as per early trade reports). This is a very good news for Vivek Agnihotri whose last film The Tashkent Files opened with Rs 40 lakhs but went onto collect Rs 20 crore worldwide with a budget of just Rs 8 crore. The Kashmir Files has been made on an overall budget of Rs 14 crore.
This film is directed and produced by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri in association with Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and Zee Studio. It tells the true story Kashmiri Pandits who were forced to leave their own land in Kashmir in 1990.
The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, Darshan Kumar, Prakash Belawadi, Mrinal Kulkarni, and Chinmay Mandlekar in key roles.

It has been quite sometime since the release of Prabhas starrer Saaho and fans were eagerly waiting for the his next big film, Radhe Shyam, which is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Unfortunately, the action drama failed to take off in Hindi language with just Rs 4.80 crore. The good news is that mega-budgeted film did well in Telugu language with collection close to Rs 30 crore. At the end of the day, Radhe Shyam collected a massive Rs 48 crore in all languages.
