Sooryavanshi, starring the superstar Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif finally hit the theaters and the big budgeted Rohit Shetty’s cop universe cheered up audience during the Diwali festival this year as the cop drama went on to collect Rs 196 crore against a budget of Rs 180 crore. Now, the ace director is back with yet another cop drama and this time he roped in Sidharth Malhotra who is riding high on the success of Shershaah.

As per Mid-Day report, the shooting for the cop drama will kick-off from tomorrow. The production team has cordoned off a portion of the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle for the purpose. A close source mentioned “After the release of Sooryavanshi [2021], Rohit and his team have been working relentlessly on the script and world building of the series. Considering the OTT universe is filled with cop dramas, he wanted his signature style to reflect in the cop caper. As the showrunner, he wants to present the series in a way that appeals to a global audience.”
