While Idris Elba’s character in Luther was sparkling but obsessed cop, Ajay Devgn’s character is calm and intriguing. Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar (National Award winning director of Marathi film, Ventilator), Rudra completely surprises you with the story of cat and mouse game between a psychopath criminal and a smart cop. The 6-episodes web series starts off with usual personal life mess of a cop but gets to the point directly over the time and keeps you engrossed till the actual drama unfolds. The sizzling chemistry between Ajay Devgn and Raashii Khann is the highlight of the web series. Credit goes to the director for handling the thriller quite well along with the writers as well. Dialogues are good. Story is awesome. Background score is nice. Cinematography is good and so was editing (I like it when they keep it short and simple).
