It has already been 3 weeks of Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi starrer Bell Bottom which became the first big Bollywood release in theaters. Though the collections has been low but it was enough considering the restrictions and limitations due to pandemic situation.

The Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom managed to perform decently first week at the box office despite restrictions and less number of shows (there was no release in Maharasthra), bringing Rs 19.40 crore. The action-thriller faced the Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Chehre in its second weekl which was released in 800 screens and the Punjabi film, Chal Mera Putta 2, dropping in with Rs 7.35 crore.

Bell Bottom 20th Day Box Office – Akshay Kumar Starrer Holds Well On 4th Tuesday
Due to the release of two major Hollywood releases - the Vin Diesel starrer F9 and Marvel Studio's Shang Chi, Bell Bottom dropped by more than 50% on its 3rd week at the box office with Rs 2.84 crore (extended first week as Bell Bottom released on Thursday) and considering the 4th Thursday collection to be around Rs 25 lakhs. After 22 days, Bell Bottom will collect around Rs 29.80 crore. From today, it will face another big release - Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivii which will again screened at selected theaters due to ongoing conflict between PVR exhibitors and makers of the film. The budget of Bell Bottom is around Rs 60 crore (Production Cost - Rs 50 , Promotion - Rs 10 crore)
