Fun loving, energetic, romantic and enjoyable – Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta starrer Salaam Namaste was one of the best film to come out in 2005. Directed by Sidharth Anand, Salaam Namaste also got a fantastic support from Javed Jaffrey and Arshad Warsi along with amazing songs composed by Vishal Shekhar which helped the film collect Rs 26.19 crore against a budget of Rs 11 crore, turning into a “Hit” at the box office.

Baar Baar Dekho had right ingredient for a typical rom-com film – Good looking lead pair, chart bursting music, exciting promos and vibrant trailers which made the audience wait for it with bated breath. Unfortunately, the same audience gave a thumbs down to the time-travel well-attempted romantic comedy which collected Rs 30.62 crore against a budget of Rs 53 crore.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been in industry for quite a well but started appealing to the mass crowd with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Kick. His first solo film Freaky Ali had a good appeal thanks to nice trailer coupled with name of Salman Khan as a producer. Freaky Ali could not do well at the box office collecting Rs 13.38 crore against a budget of Rs 23 crore.
