Fun loving, energetic, romantic and enjoyable – Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta starrer Salaam Namaste was one of the best film to come out in 2005. Directed by Sidharth Anand, Salaam Namaste also got a fantastic support from Javed Jaffrey and Arshad Warsi along with amazing songs composed by Vishal Shekhar which helped the film collect Rs 26.19 crore against a budget of Rs 11 crore, turning into a “Hit” at the box office.

Another romantic comedy from the house of Yash Raj films, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan was the debut film of Ali Abbas Zafar who later helmed Sultan. The Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar starrer was a “Hit” at the box office, collecting Rs 57/40 crore against a budget of Rs 32 crore.

Cruella Movie Review – Dazzling Visual Treat With Commendable Performances

Baar Baar Dekho Vs Freaky ALi (2016)

Baar Baar Dekho had right ingredient for a typical rom-com film – Good looking lead pair, chart bursting music, exciting promos and vibrant trailers which made the audience wait for it with bated breath. Unfortunately, the same audience gave a thumbs down to the time-travel well-attempted romantic comedy which collected Rs 30.62 crore against a budget of Rs 53 crore.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been in industry for quite a well but started appealing to the mass crowd with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Kick. His first solo film Freaky Ali had a good appeal thanks to nice trailer coupled with name of Salman Khan as a producer. Freaky Ali could not do well at the box office collecting Rs 13.38 crore against a budget of Rs 23 crore.
