Sources Confirm Samantha Ruth Prabhu To Take A Short Break From Acting & Checkout On Her Other Latest Updates

Last year in the month of October, one of the top actresses Ms Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared with her fans that she was suffering from a disease called Myositis, which weakens the muscles and makes them painful and tired. 

Still, the actress didn’t stop working and has been continuously shooting for film after film with no breaks at all. Shakunthalam starring herself besides Dev Mohan was released recently on 14^th April 2023 and then she’s finishing her part of a shoot for ‘Khushi’ alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Also, for a Hollywood series titled ‘Citadel’ which is an American spy thriller and lead actors are Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. 

Amidst that the sources close to her revealed that the actor wants to now focus on her health before she jumps on to new projects., “Sam is definitely going on a break, but only for a few months to focus on her health as she had one crazy year with back-to-back shoots. She will kickstart prepping for her new projects soon after the short break,” they stated.

Meanwhile, the latest video of her with Deverakonda is surfing on the internet as they are spotted shooting in a temple for their ‘Khushi’ movie scene and we can’t get enough of both. To add, Prabhu recently received a warm welcome from the Grand Kakinada (a city in Andhra Pradesh) Management, where we can see she’s honoured with a shawl and a bouquet.

It is also said that Samantha has got a remuneration of a whopping ₹10 Crores to the Citadel web series. Sources close to her say, she in fact wanted not to act in this series & quoted a much higher price than her usual package. The OTT company had different plans & locked her in the project. 

2024 is surely going to be a big year for her with Citadel release followed by some big announcements.
