‘Raththam' is an upcoming Tamil film starring Vijay Anthony in the lead, helmed by CS Amudhan, backed by G Dhananjeyan and they both shared gratefulness for the actor making up for promotional events despite the time when he had the personal loss of his daughter.

The director CS Amudhan shared, “Guys I assure you that for all of us involved in this, promoting the movie is very low on our priorities… there are things beyond our control and impacting the lives of many people. Also there is the thing of what the man himself wants and how he chooses to cope.”

Tamil actor Vijay Anthony married Fatima Vijay Antony and are parents to two daughters Meera and Laara. Recently, the actor faced the unfortunate death of his eldest daughter Meera on September 19 which left him heartbroken.
Taking to his social media on X (formerly Twitter), Vijay shared a teary note on the demise of his daughter. He wrote, “My daughter Meera is the most kind-hearted and brave. She has left this world and gone where there is no creed, caste, religion, money, jealousy, pain, poverty, or evil. She has gone to a place that is peaceful. (I feel) she is still talking to me.” He added, “I also died from within when she died. Now, I have started to spend time with her.”
The film ‘Raththam’ is set to hit theatres on October 6, including Vijay Anthony also starring Nandita Swetha, Mahima Nambiar, Ramya Nambeesan and others.

On the work front, Vijay Antony has three more films in the project pipeline including 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan', 'Hitler' and 'Valli Mayil'.
