Leaks have become more and more frequent these days, and they result in undermining the hard work of many. It affects the film industry, and the recent victim is Prabhas, whose cameo look for the film Kannappa.
Prabhas is set to make a cameo in Mukesh Kumar Singh’s Kannappa starring Vishnu Manchu, but very little is known about his character. However, a picture of him from the film has been leaked on X (Formerly Twitter), and Prabhas fans were quick to repost it and appreciate it.
24 Frames Factory, the production house of the film, were quick to acknowledge this leak and released a statement urging fans not to share the picture anymore, and announced a reward for whoever helped in catching the perpetrator. Their statement said, “For the past eight years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Kannappa. After two years of intense production, our team is dedicated to bringing you a film of unmatched quality and passion. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorization.”
“We are committed to uncovering how this leak happened and evaluating options to file a police complaint to hold those responsible for this leak,” the statement read, highlighting the efforts of 2000 VFX artists who worked on the film. They have offered a reward of Rs. 5 lakhs to anyone who helps them catch the culprit.
Kannappa, starring Vishnu and Prabhas, is a fantasy film based on the legend of Kannappa, a faithful devotee of Lord Shiva. The audience will see Akshay Kumar in the role of Lord Shiva.
