‘I remain deeply…’, Pushpa 2’s Allu Arjun reflects on theatre stampede

Actor Allu Arjun shares a post on his Instagram expressing grief, days after the Hyderabad theatre stampede incident that took the life of a woman and left her son in ICU. Allu Arjun was charged with amounting to murder and Voluntarily causing harm.

The stampede during a benefit show in Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre on December 4 was caused by the sudden arrival of Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun. It took the life of a woman and critically injured her son, leaving him in ICU. On December 14, he was arrested on the charge of amounting to murder and voluntarily causing harm. He was later given bail, but till now, he hasn’t responded to the situation.

However, on December 16, he took to his Instagram, expressing concern for the family of the victim through an Instagram post. The post said, “I remain deeply concerned about young Sri Tej, who is under constant medical care after the unfortunate incident.” He explained that due to the ongoing legal situation, he is advised not to visit the boy or his family for the time being.

“My prayers remain with them, and I remain committed to taking responsibility for addressing the medical and family needs. I wish him a speedy recovery, and I look forward to meeting him and his family at the earliest,” he concluded the post.
