Since morning, sirens have been echoing throughout most of North Israel’s Haifa as Israeli rockets intercept the incoming Hezbollah rockets in the sky. The drones seem to target the towns and cities near the border of Lebanon. Some of the drones attacked Caesarea, an area where various businessmen and political leaders, including Israeli President Netanyahu, reside. Caesarea is a hub of economic and strategic assets, like oil refineries and military bases.

While the sirens went off in most Northern Israeli cities, they didn’t in Caesarea. One of the rockets struck Netanyahu’s residence. However, at the time of the impact, Netanyahu and his family were not present in the house.  Residents of Caesarea have been uploading videos on social media about the incoming drones. So far 11 people have died in the attacks.

Hezbollah launched various rockets and drones together at different targets to avoid any detection. This attack comes after Israel killed the Hezbollah Chief Mohammad Nasser with a drone strike. The Israeli Security Services view this drone attack on Caesarea as a failure of their defence system and has launched a investigation into it.
