While speaking at the BJP Membership Drive, Ranaut said that corruption is rampant, especially in Congress-led state governments and accused the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu of taking loans for Sonia Gandhi. According to her, the funds provided for disaster relief in the state are given to the former congress president, depleting the state funds.

The Actress turned Politician claimed that the ruling Congress government had taken the state decades back. "Disasters and the Congress government have set the state back by decades," she said. She called on the people of Himachal to remove the current government. Attacking CM Sukhu on mismanagement of disaster funds, she stated, "If we give disaster funds, it should go to the CM Relief Fund, but everyone knows that it goes to the Sonia Relief Fund."

She further targeted the Himachal Pradesh Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, alleging that even though the people of Himachal are tired of the potholes, they have not looked into the problem yet. She also claimed that sports facilities in primary schools have been cut off as part of a conspiracy, along with delayed salary and pension.

The BJP MP assured change in the state if the BJP government is formed and promised to build a Sports Complex in Mandi. The Congress government came to power in Himachal Pradesh in December 2022.
Expressing concern over the grim financial situation in Himachal Pradesh, CM Sukhu declared last month that he, his ministers, chief parliamentary secretaries and chairpersons/vice-chairpersons of boards and corporations would not take salaries for two months.
