Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan's lawyer Sana Raees Khan, who fought for him in the year 2021 at the time of his Mumbai Cruise Drugs Case is all set to be a part of the television reality show ‘Bigg Boss 17’ hosted by Salman Khan. The moment when the show is just away from its grand premiere, the Bombay High Court went ahead to file a complaint about her participation in the game.
Bombay HC Advocate Files a Complaint!
Sana Raees Khan is a criminal lawyer by profession and owing to her participation in Bigg Boss 17, the prominent Bombay High Court lawyer Ashutosh Dubey raised an objection saying this constitutes a violation of the regulations established by the Bar Council and lodged a formal complaint with the Bar Council of India that he shared with netizens on social media.
On X/Twitter, the Bombay HC lawyer shared a print of a long complaint letter and captioned it, “I have formally notified the Bar Council of India that Advocate Sana Raees Khan has participated as a contestant in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 17' which is violation of Bar Council Rules.
According to rules 47 to 52 of the Bar Council of India Rules, advocates are prohibited from engaging in any other employment to generate income. Additionally, section 49(1)(c) of the Advocates Act, 1961 restricts practicing advocates from pursuing full-time employment in other fields.”
