Popdiaries Reacts To Squid Game 2 Trailer, And We Sense An Epic Ending

Netflix just released the first official trailer for the second season of Squid Games. The trailer hints that this time, the games are different, deadly and could be reaching their end.

Seeing Lee Jung-Jae reprising his role as Player 456 brings back all the trauma he and we, as an audience, endured throughout the last season. The trailer also shows a glimpse into the next set of players, who will torment us emotionally this time.

While the Red Light, Green Light game makes a return this season, the other games are brand new, showing fresh ways to die and causing emotional damage to its audience. The amount of bloodshed in the trailer promises that the games will be different, difficult and full of surprises.

Another thing that we noticed is that Player 456 is back in the games but with the intention of bringing an end to it. It seems like he will be influencing other players to revolt and lead a resistance to the doorsteps of the game maker. It would be interesting to see how the season ends now, what the games are and to what extent they’re played.

The twisted mind of showrunner Hwang Dong-hyuk might also answer what happens to the games after the creator of the game dies at the end of the first season.
