"We will spend only what is required for the film and the story," Varma stressed. He reiterated his commitment to avoiding unnecessary expenses on remuneration and other non-essential aspects, focusing instead on delivering a cinematic experience that aligns with the narrative's vision.

Addressing his reputation for overshooting budgets, Varma acknowledged the jest within his team regarding the success of HanuMan. Despite the film being made at a budget of Rs 40 crore (excluding advertising and marketing), the director admitted to being known for increasing budgets due to constant improvisation in all aspects of filmmaking.

HanuMan, starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, enjoyed critical acclaim and success at the box office.
