Delhi Capitals who are on edge to qualify for the playoffs are in trouble again due to maining slow over rate; skipper Rishabh Pant is suspended for the one match and has fined ₹30 lakh according to IPL Code of Conduct breach, for the third time this season. The third offence happened in Delhi's last match against Rajasthan Royals.

Delhi Capitals will surely miss their captain wicket keeper for their must winning match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru away from their home. Delhi's batting line up is heavily dependent on Pant; also he is the highest run scorer in the team with 413 runs in 12 innings including 3 fifties. Pant has donned many match winning & game changing innings for the team in this season.
