‘Neeyat’ is an upcoming spy murder mystery thriller that stars a stellar ensemble cast of Vidya Balan, Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Prajakta Koli, Shashank Arora, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Aneja Walia, Shahana Goswami, Danesh Rizvi includes in the list.

And today, the makers held a press conference and we got to witness the fun laughter ride with this huge celeb-stunned afternoon. Through this, we can make out that the star cast shares a wonderful bond with each other and all of them are interesting in their selves.

Amidst that, the outstanding actress Vidya Balan was asked what if she got a chance to end up anyone’s life in the industry then who it would be? Keeping it in the quirkiest way possible she laughingly replied saying she’ll kill the ones who don’t watch their movies in theatres and encourages piracy while asking viewers to watch their film Neeyat on big screens.

The Shakuntala Devi actress also shared the famous detective characters that she loves which are Byomkesh Bakshi, Karamchand, Sherlock Holmes, and Miss Marple and adding to this Ram Kapoor addresses her as, “Trust me, in this she's not like any detective that you have ever seen". That raises our curiosity more for sure to watch her in this role. Revealing more about her role, the actress said, “Mira Rao is not a classic detective in a classic murder mystery. She has her own quirks and a very different perspective to things".

Talking about how did the director Anu Menon manage such a huge cast on sets, she regularly had to intervene to keep them quiet like a "class monitor" and focus on the narrative. Sharing on the same, Vidya said, “We had a great time on the sets owing to such an amazing cast. Anu had to literally scream 'QUIET!' while we were shooting." 

Further, the entire cast rioted in laughter when they were asked how the director had matched all their energies. Ram says don’t ask this question, she will shout at us here just like the way she used to do it while they were shooting. Niki Walia adds on saying, “You can see here, no one is letting the director talk and the same use to happen”. And the fun ride goes with Rahul Bose adding, “There’s a one-word answer ALCOHOL.” 

Apart from all these, a major question that comes in whenever we have such a huge cast that how one has justified in a smaller role that too in less time-space. Guess what? Shahana confidently shared that every character is great in the film and will definitely talk about each one of their roles separately by praising all of them.

‘Neeyat’ is about when a mysterious murder that takes place at exiled billionaire Ashish Kapoor's birthday getaway, the detective Mira Rao must use all her skill to unravel devious motives as the suspects are Kapoor's close family and friends.
