‘Gadar 2’ starring Sunny Deol earned massive success at the box office by becoming the highest grossing third Hindi film ever after Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’, and Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ with a worldwide collection of more than Rs 500 crores at the box office.
Sunny Deol hiked his fees to Rs 50 crores?
After the film set new records, Sunny earned a hit after 22 years. Amidst this, reports going around that the actor has hiked his remuneration price by a whopping Rs 50 crore, dismissing the rumour he opened up in his recent appearance on a television news channel show.
As the host questioned the actor about his increase in fees, he laughed to say, “Paise kya lene hai nahi lene hai, who to producer.. wahi dega jitna usse pata hai who bana sakta hai (The producer will decide how much they want to pay an actor, depending on how much they earn). An actor would also charge according to [how much he can help the film earn].”

Further, when the host said one would deserve Rs 50 crore as fees if a movie earns Rs 500 crore, to which Gadar 2 star said, “If the producer feels they can pay me that much, then I am okay with it. Main yeh nahi kahunga ke nahi main nahi karunga, mujhe itna nahi mila (I won’t say no to projects because I am not paid a certain amount). That’s not how I work. I like to be in a position where I don’t become a burden to a project.”
Shah Rukh Khan Sunny Deol Reunion left fans delighted
In the recent success party of ‘Gadar 2’, fans were delighted to see Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan together, as both once got involved in a fight at the time of the 1993 film ‘Darr’. The actors were starred together in this movie.

Mr Deol calls their fight ‘childish’
Spilling beans upon a past infamous fight with King Khan and the current bond, Sunny said, “Who zamana (those days) when it happened, that was a different time. I say ‘People, forget what happened in those days’. One understands such things should not have happened. It was ‘bachpana’ (childish), definitely. After that, Shah Rukh and I met several times and spoke to each other about many things. We also talked about some movies. This time, he was watching my film with his entire family. And he called me up. Toh sab cheezen bahut badhiya hai. Sab kuch bahut badhiya (everything is fine now).”
In ‘Gadar 2’, Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol reminisced the famous roles of Tara Singh and Sakeena from the cult-classic 2001 film 'Gadar'.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has created history again after ‘Pathaan’, now with ‘Jawan’ collecting Rs 520.79 crores in just four days of its release by delivering a perfect power-packed action entertainer.
