The teaser trailer for Salman Khan’s next film, Sikandar, was slated for December 27, on his 59th birthday. However, yesterday night, the death of Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh shocked the country. Out of respect and grief, the filmmakers decided to postpone the release date of the teaser trailer.
Nadiadwala Grandson Productions tweeted a statement saying, “In light of the passing of our esteemed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we regret to announce that the release of the Sikandar teaser has been postponed to 28th December 11:07 AM. Our thoughts are with the nation during this time of mourning. Thank you for understanding.”

The studio already released a first-look poster for the film featuring Salman Khan on December 26. Salman Khan reunited with Sajid Nadiadwala after Kick and Mujse Shadi Karoge. The film will feature Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal. Sikandar will be released on Eid 2025.
