READ: Time When Jahnvi Kapoor Recalled The Last Moment & Words Spoke To Her Mother Sridevi

Jahnvi Kapoor is the daughter of the evergreen beauty actress Sridevi and the filmmaker Boney Kapoor, who made her debut on 20 July 2018 with the film ‘Dhadak’ starring opposite Ishaan Khattar. That made her very popular amongst the youth and since then she has been part of several great projects. 

Recalling the tragic death of Sridevi, she left the world on 24 February 2018 just a few months before her daughter’s Bollywood debut and just like every mother-daughter duo they would share a very finest and close bond. So, the Gunjan Saxena actress’ first interview with Vogue after her mother’s demise with Karan Johar recalled the last words that she spoke to her mom and also the last moment that she spent with her.

Janhvi shared, “The day before she left for the wedding, I had to shoot, but I couldn’t sleep, so I was like, I need you to come and put me to sleep. But she was packing, so by the time she came to me, I was half asleep. But I could feel her patting my head". 

Talking about the wedding and there she took her last breath, Sridevi flew to Dubai to attend the marriage of her nephew Mohit Marwah with her youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor. Then she wanted to spend there more days to shop for her eldest daughter’s 21st birthday.

Also sharing about how the Kapoor family had a tough time cop with the loss, the Mili actress said, “The family has come together. It’s made us feel safe and secure. Even for Papa, it’s a source of comfort. It has definitely tied us together. We’ve lost Mum, and I don’t think that’s a loss any of us will ever get over.”

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor has several movies lined up Bawaal is releasing on 21st July 2023 on Amazon Prime Video and recently its teaser had already witness with all love and appreciation. Other films are Mr & Mrs Mahi, Devara and Ulajh.
