There were two significant Bollywood films which were released at the box office today in the past years – Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra starrer Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi starrer Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.
Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004)
Based on the Hollywood film, Anger Management, David Dhawan directed Mujshe Shaadi Karogi was an out-an-out masala entertainment. The film boasted some grand production value, high profile actors and chart bursting songs. Brilliantly acted by super stars Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi was a sure shot hit even before it released.
The movie opened to a fabulous start all over India and ended its theater run with Rs 29 crore against a budget of Rs 19 crore and turned out to be “Hit” at the box office.
Once Upon A Time In Mumbai (2010)
When you have talented actors coming together for the first time, you expect a fire work on silver screen. While Ajay Devgn stole the show with his dhamakedaar dialogues, he was adequately supported by Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda and Emraan Hashmi in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.

Thanks to the wonderful trailer, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai opened to a very good response and stayed afloat at the ticket window, minting a staggering Rs 60 crore against a budget of Rs 35 crore, turning out to be a “Hit” at the box office.
