Probably the best gangster movie ever made in India and probably the best movie ever made by Anurag Kashyap, Gangs Of Wasseypur and its sequel, shaped the career of actors like Manoj Bajpai, Richa Chadha, Rajkummar Rao, Vineet Kumar Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, Huma Qureshi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui who became a sensation for playing the role of “Faizal”. The passion, dedication and focus of Anurag Kashyap in Gangs Of Wasseypur series earned him recognition from Hollywood legendary director Martin Scorsese in form of a letter. The movie collected Rs 28 crore against a budget of Rs 21 crore and turned out to be profitable for its makers
