On Saturday, the collections went down but was still managed with Rs 42.90 crore, which is simply superb since the action drama has consistently given 40+ crore in all three day. The action drama went up again on Sunday with Rs 50.35 crore, bringing the total domestic collection in 4 days to Rs 193.99 crore in the Hindi version. With this collection, KGF Chapter 2 leads the top opening weekend of all time.

The action drama held well on first Monday with Rs 25.57 crore. As per early trade report, the sequel minted somewhere between Rs 20-22 crore, bringing the 6 days total to Rs 238-240 crore. With this collection, KGF has beaten the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express ( Rs 227.13 crore) and Salman Khan starrer Kick (Rs 231.85 crore). It minted Rs 55-55 crore in the overseas market, bringing the worldwide total to around Rs 675 crore which is just phenomenal. The budget is Rs 100 crore which has easily been achieved.
