The team of SS Rajamouli, and the Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt starrer are already on cloud nine as it became the second film after The Kashmir Files to enter the 200 crore club. RRR also posted a stellar 132.59 crore which turned out to be the highest first week collection post pandemic beating Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi (Rs 120.66 crore). There was a big Bollywood release in form of John Abraham starrer Attack but that did no impact the biopic drama as it went onto collect Rs 76 crore in the second week followed by a solid Rs 35.2 crore in the third week.

March 2022 Box Office Monthly Report : Business Bounces Back For Movie Industry

Though the SS Rajamouli directed action drama suffered on Thursday due to the release of Yash starrer KGF 2, it went up on 4th Friday with Rs 3 crore and on 4th Saturday with Rs 3.30 crore. As per early trade estimate, the Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer escalated to around Rs 3.75- 4 crore,  bringing the total 24 days to around Rs 253-253.50 crore. With this total, RRR has beaten the lifetime collection of another blockbuster called The Kashmir Files, which has minted Rs 252 crore.

RRR has now brought the overall total to around Rs 751.63 crore in India and worldwide total to Rs 1076.50 crore. The budget of RRR is estimated to be around Rs 600 crore.
