Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Katthiawasi is inching towards 100 crore mark. The biopic drama is based on the real-life events about the rise of a simple girl from Kathiawad who had no choice but to embrace the ways of destiny and swing it in her favor. After working together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are coming together for the second film, Gangubai Kathiawadi.

The film is directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay along with Peter Craig and produced by DC Films, 6th & Idaho, and Dylan Clark Productions, and set for distribution by Warner Bros.
