Pushpa, starring Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil, has done exceedingly well in all languages at the box office.
In his first ever big release in multiple language, Allu Arjun stars in the action thriller, Pushpa, which released across India in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages worldwide in theatres on 18th December. The Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil starrer Pushpa collected an outstanding Rs 27.24 crore in its first week followed by Rs 20.03 crore in the second week in the Hindi version. The action drama did very well on its third week with Rs 24.62 crore. The Sandalwood action drama minted Rs 12.41 crore in the fourth week inspite of releasing in OTT in other languages. Pushpa minted Rs 6.75 crore in the fifth week, bringing the total close to Rs 92 crore.
Pushpa had collected Rs 1.50 crore on the Republic Day and should collect around Rs 6 crore in its sixth week. As per Box Office India, the action drama has become the third highest grossing third highest in history and is the only film behind Uri - The Surgical Strike and Gadar - Ek Prem Katha. Pushpa had also crossed its budget which was Rs 180 crore from around 3000 screens across India.
Based on the story of the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, Pushpa has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively.
