Sequel to the smash hit , Bahubali-The BeginningBahubali 2-The Conclusion was even more grandeur and more anticipated than the previous version. The question “Why Kattappa Killed Bahubali” raised in the first part created a aura of suspense and was finally answered in the sequel. Bahubali 2 (Hindi) opened to a thundering response with Rs 40.73 crores and collected a record-breaking Rs 247 crore in its first week on 5th May 2017 beating the record of Salman Khan starrer Sultan (Rs 229.16 crore). The war drama eventually collected Rs 510 crores (none of the Bollywood films have reached this milestone till now), becoming the “All-Time Blockbuster”. The budget of Bahubali 2 was Rs 195 crore.

2.0 (2018)

While November 2018 started with a debacle called Thugs Of Hindostan, the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 ended the month with a bang. From the man behind the some classic films like Humse Hai Muqabla, Hindustani, Aparachit and Nayak , 2.0 opened to solid response in the Hindi version which collected a massive total of Rs 188 crore, making it the 4th highest grossing film of Akshay Kumar at that time

The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer Bahubali was lauded by both audience and the critics for its surreal direction, exemplary CGI and commendable performances. The Hindi version of Bahubali  was presented by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions and became the first dubbed film to cross 100 crore at the ticket window. The war-drama became “Blockbuster” at the box office, collecting Rs 118.50 crore in the Hindi version and Rs 516 crore in all languages against a budget of Rs 180 crore.

In his first ever big release in multiple language, Allu Arjun stars in the action thriller, Pushpa, which released across India in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages worldwide in theatres on 18th December. The Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil starrer Pushpa collected an outstanding Rs 26.95 crore in its first week followed by Rs 20.24 crore in the second week in the Hindi version. The action drama did very well on its third week with Rs 25.06. The Sandalwood action drama minted Rs 9.12 crore in the fourth week inspite of releasing in OTT in other languages. Pushpa minted Rs 1.25 crore on fifth Friday, followed by Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday and around Rs 2 crore on Sunday, bringing the solid total to Rs 89 crore in Hindi version. The budget of Pushpa is Rs 180 crore and till now collected a massive Rs 244.05 crore in all languages.
