Thanks to the outstanding reviews and electrifying energy before the release, Scream has beaten Spider Man No Way Home after its month of its release.
Thanks to the spellbinding trailer of Scream which brings back the star cast Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette, the latest film in the hit franchise, Scream scared all the way to the top position with stellar $30.6 million easily beating the previous champion, Spider Man No Way Home. Equipped with stellar reviews (currently it is sitting at 75% fresh rating in Rotten Tomatoes), Scream is made on a budget of just $25 million and has beaten the opening day collection of the previous film, Scream 4, which collected $18.7 million when it released in April 2011.
After a month since its release, Spider Man No Way Home dropped to the second position this weekend, still collecting a solid $20.8 million and inching close to $700 million and standing at the fourth position on the list of highest domestic grossing film of all time at US. The super hero flick is behind Avatar ($760 million), Avengers Endgame ($858.4 million) and Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens ($936.7 million)
