Spider Man No Way Home 1st Monday Box Office Report – Super-Solid Hold

Sequel to blockbuster, Dabanng, Salman Khan starrer Dabanng 2 was bigger but disappointed content wise. Directed by Arbaaz Khan, Dabanng 2 had Salman Khan returning to his jolly-corrupt-cop avatar which was loved by the audience. Though Dabanng 2 lacked the punchline from the first film, it was still loved by the audience and turned out to be “Blockbuster” at the box office, collecting Rs 155 crore against a budget of Rs 84 crore.

Written, directed and produced by Aneez Bazmi, Welcome was the perfect dose of comedy filled with drama, wonderful acting by Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Feroz Khan. Welcome turned out to be superhit at the box office, collecting Rs 70.13 against a budget of Rs 48 crore.

Everything related to the comedy entertainer has been in news ever since its official announcement. The teaser of Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan which released during EID this year, last appearance of legendary actress Sridevi on silver screen as special guest, the thrilling climax scene and the news of Yash Raj Films distributing it overseas was just fabulous. However, the film received a lukewarm response at the ticket window, minting just Rs 98 crores against a budget of Rs 200 crores domestically.

KGF – Chapter 1 (2018)

Written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, Kannada film, KGF Chapter 1, starring Yash was the surprise hit as it received solid reviews from the critics and audience alike. The action drama went on to collect Rs 44.42 crore in Hindi language while it minted a mind blowing Rs 185.24 crore in all languages against a budget of Rs 80 crore.
