Pushpa, starring Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil, collected another handsome amount at the box office.
In his first ever big release in multiple language, Allu Arjun stars in the action thriller, Pushpa, which released across India in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages worldwide in theatres. While the first part of action drama will be released in Christmas 2021, the makers have not revealed the release date of the second part. Based on the story of the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, Pushpa has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively.
Pushpa opened to decent response in Hindi in the morning show occupancy was decent but picked up well in the evening and night shows at the box office. The earnings went up on Saturday with Rs 3.85 crore while Sunday was superb with Rs 6.7 crore, bringing the first weekend collection with Rs 13.55 crore. There was hardly any drop on Monday with collections being around Rs 2.95-3 crore in Hindi belt, bringing the four days total to Rs 15-15.20 crore in Hindi language. In other languages, the action drama dropped on Monday with Rs 11-11.25 crore, bringing the overall figure to Rs 124-124.50 crore. The budget of Pushpa is Rs 180 crore and has been released in around 3000 screens across India.
