Last year this week we saw the clash between three Diwali releases- Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol starrer Housefull 4, Rajkummar Rao starrer Made In China and Taapsee Pannu and Bhumika Chawla starrer Saand Ki Aankh. There was one more significant film, Deewangee, starring Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna and urmila Matondkar which was released on 25th October. Let us see which film will open better at the box office.

Housefull 4 (2019)
After giving a solid hits with Kesari and Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar was back with the fourth part of Housefull franchise which was in safe hands as the previous versions have been a major hits for which the numbers have just manifolded. Looking from the trailer of Housefull 4, the comedy-drama had generated curiosity among the audience as it came at the right time of Diwali festival celebration. Akshay Kumar had already his highest opening with Mission Mangal (Rs 29.16 crore) in 2019 while Kesari opened with Rs 21.06 crore. With the competition from Made In China and Saand Ki Aankh being minimal, Housefull 4 went onto collect Rs 210.30 crore against a budget of Rs 175 crore.

Made In China (2019)
Rajkummar Rao made a comeback with yet another slapstick comedy, Made In China, after impressing the audience last year with blockbuster called Stree. Paresh Rawal and Mouni Roy joins him to make it a wholesome entertainment. Unfortunately, Made In China faced average reviews from both audience and critics which turned the movie collect only Rs 12.30 crore against a budget of Rs 25 crore.

Saand Ki Aankh (2019)
Produced by Anurag Kashyap, Saand Ki Aankh was based on a true story of the oldest sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar played by Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu. Though the story of Saand Ki Aankh is inspiring, the trailer has received lukewarm response from the audience. Though Saand Ki Aankh opened on a slow note, the audience liked the content of the biopic drama. which helped Saand Ki Aankh collect Rs 23.67 crore against a budget of Rs 20 crore.

Deewangee (2002)
A remake of Hollywood film, Primal Fear, the Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna and Urmila Matondkar starrer Deewangee was praised by the audience and the critics alike who gave the thumbs up to brilliant performance, especially by Ajay Devgn. Directed by Anees Bazmee, Deewangee did decent business at the box office, collecting Rs 11.44 crore against a budget of Rs 9 crore.
