Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was an iconic film which tells the story of Raj (Shah Rukh Khan ) who travels all the way from London to India to find Simran (Kajol) who is about to get married to Kuljeet (Parmeet Seth) chosen by her father, Chaudhry Baldev Singh (Amrish Puri). Raj must find a way to get the love of his life before he loses her forever. Aditya Chopra, who debuted in direction with DDLJ, scores brownie points with engaging screenplay which will keep you hooked for around 3 hours. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge boasted off some great performances by Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as the lead characters, with Farida Jalal, Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher, Parmeet Seth, Satish Shah in supporting roles. The highlight of the film was heart-touching music by Jatin Lalit and beautiful cinematography by Manmohan Singh. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge earned very good reviews from the critics while the paying audience gave a thumbs up to a satisfying content.
