No Time To Die Review – Raise A Toast For Daniel Craig’s Perfect Farewell

Directed by Prabhudeva, Singh Is Bling was the sequel to the blockbuster Singh Is King. The film was full on masala entertainment and was funny in parts which helped to take a solid opening at the box office. Unfortunately, it could not sustain its leg at the box office on the longer run, collecting Rs 71 crore against a budget of Rs 91 crore.

Pitted against the big budgeted Singh is BlingTalvar was the film which proved its naysayer wrong. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the real-incident drama boasted of some powerful performances by the star cast while the direction and screenplay were simply mind blowing which led to its successful box office run, collecting Rs 31 crore against a budget of Rs 17 crore.

Bang Bang (2014)

Touted as one of the most expensive film of Bollywood, Bang Bang was a shady remake of Tom Cruise starrer Knight And Day. Despite bad reviews, Bang Bang collected a very good amount of money at the box office and was successful, collecting Rs 181 crore against a budget of Rs 160 crore.

Haider (2014)

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Haider changed the career of Shahid Kapoor who stunned everyone with his extra ordinary performance. The film, based on Shakespeare’s play Hamlet, had some great moment to keep you engaged. Along with Shahid, Tabu performed very well. The drama minted a good Rs 60 crore with a budget of Rs 48 crore.

After having a fun time at the box office, success was interrupted for Ranbir Kapoor when Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam was released at the box office in 2013 which made him into a butt of jokes. The movie took a grand opening at the box office but terrible reviews just kept the audience away from the theater, collecting Rs 60 crore against a budget of Rs 83 crore.

Wake Up Sid (2009)

Ranbir Kapoor tasted the first success of his life with coming-of-age drama in Ayan Mukherjee’s directorial debut Wake Up Sid. Critics were floored over by his amazing performance and audience gave a thumbs up to Wake Up Sid, which minted Rs 28 crore against a budget of Rs 18 crore. Konkona Sen Sharma as usual was brilliant.
