There were three significant Bollywood films which were released today at box office in the past years – Rajkummar Rao starrer Netwon, Rahul Bose and Malika Sherawat starrer Pyaar Ke Side Effects and Anupam Kher and Boman Irani starrer Khosla Ka Ghosla and Ayesha Takia and Gul Panag starrer Dor were released. India’s official entry to Oscar in 2017, Newton was a strong film directed by Amit V. Masurkar. Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi won the hearts of the audience with electrifying performances and film hit the bull’s eye at the box office, collecting Rs 22.18 crore against a budget of Rs 9 crore.
Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006)
Saket Chaudhary (Hindi Medium) debuted into Bollywood with this quirky comedy with unusual pairing of Rahul Bose and Malika Sherawat. The movie was full on entertainment and funny scenes which brought down the house. The songs and superb performances made it a superhit at the box office, minting Rs 8.32 crore against a budget of Rs 6.50 crore.

Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006)
Dibarker Banerjee debuted into Bollywood with a satire on a common man trying to retrieve his own land from a local real-estate tycoon. Khosla Ka Ghosla was one of the best to come out in 2006 and was a hit at the box office, collecting Rs 4.60 crore against a budget of Rs 3.65 crore
Nagesh Kukunoor defied the stereotype in Bollywood with a power-packed film on friendship and forgiveness. Beautiful music by Salim-Suleiman and outstanding performances by Ayesha Takia and Gul Panag made sure this film was on your watchlist. Though the film tanked at the box office, it achieved the cult status later.
